One production thing to note before I log off: they had a GoPro or something mounted on one corner to get closer to the in-ring action. A lot did take place there, but the way the camera was mounted, we usually just got a shot of someone’s back. It was a nice idea, but it needs work. #stardom
Sayaka Kurara tries to beg Saya Kamitani to come back to the light and get a belt to the face for her trouble. Konami gives Hanan a matching face belt, and HATE leaves. And that’s the end of #stardom in Sendai.
And HATE wins as Konami pins Hanan, thanks in part to some friendly fire. The last few minutes of this match were definitely meant as a prologue for their title bout. #stardom

Hanan and Konami took it outside the ring, where Konami throttled her with the very belt they’ll fight for in a few weeks. And back in the ring, Aya Sakura gets stomped by the rest of HATE. #stardom

Also, Hina has a very charismatic presence, in a leader-like way. I’m surprised she isn’t used more in that kind of role. Or maybe she is, and I’m just too new a fan to know that yet. #stardom
But in the end, it was the other member of the Itoh Respect Army, Kikyo Furusawa, who was pinned. I hope she gets some wins of her own, too. #stardom

Anyhoo, we have another six-woman match between Syuri, Ami Sohrei, and Hina vs Hazuki, Maki Itoh, and Kikyo Furusawa. #stardom
Oh, also, I literally flipped off the TV when Anne was pinned. That’s how mad I was that she took another L. #stardom
There was also some real storytelling between Mizumori and Rian. Rian wants a shot at the high-speed belt, and this week she’s really played dirty to show Mizumori she’s coming for her. Their inevitable title bout is gonna be epic. #stardom
It’s utter garbage that Anne still doesn’t have a win to her name. She works harder than anyone out there, and you could see the hunger in her moves this match. Any other wrestler would have at least a 50/50 win-loss record. This just better have a huge story payoff. #stardom
