This is a Amanita muscaria fungi and legend says it has a direct connection to Christmas. It was used by shaman and druids at this time of the year to fly to the North Star in search of knowledge and gifts. Today, this fungi is also called fly agaric. #nature #mushrooms #fungi #photography
