Giants star Dexter Lawrence is being traded to the Bengals in a pre-Draft blockbuster that includes the No. 10 pick heading to the Giants, per me and Mike Garafolo.

NYG gets premium draft compensation, Cincy gets a lynchpin, while Sexy Dexy gets a new, big-money extension.

Ha!

I do like trying to offset others chip gains through planning, but this is purely a ML cup consideration given I’ll almost certainly, regardless of strategy, end with my worst ever OR.

4 days ago 1 0 0 0

Nothing to play for from an OR perspective (in my mind, at least) so any chips ML orientated.

Depending on how this week goes, may end up playing one a week from GW35

✍️ - Pedro/Palmer for Ekitike/Wirtz..

GW33.

🏦 - £0.6m
🃏 - Petrović (6.0%)

Swinging a Palmer (c) SOS toward the #FPL fences.

Chips stay on ice with FT’s utilised, leaving one in hand to produce an XI next week barring injury.

Good luck ya bunch of chip gobblers.. 🫡

Bit late with this, away with family in 🇵🇹.

Nice 🟩 in GW32. Creeping toward breaking top 1m for first time this season (🤮).

Sub-optimal chip play in full swing with focus on ML’s, with nothing doing until GW34 at earliest.

Andoni Iraola to leave Bournemouth at end of season Iraola's Bournemouth contract expires in the summer, having last signed fresh terms in 2024.

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Andoni Iraola to leave Bournemouth when contract ends this summer. #AFCB tried everything to keep head coach over months of negotiations but 43yo chose to exit + successor process under way; Kieran McKenna high among options 🚨

Forgot the deadline, incredible effort.
Luckily, team was set during Greenwich Mean Time..

Rolling to 3FT’s heading into chip-less DGW.

Ha! 😀

My season was done some time ago..

Improving my OR would be nice but chips shifted to a ML, overall sub-optimal, thought process..

#FPL “£30m in the Bank League” end of season preview!

With 7 GWs to go, barring a late surge there’s realistically 5 teams challenging for the Season 3 title.

Let’s check out the contenders…

Thought this was properly excellent.

Gosling’s charm holds the screen, whilst Sandra Hüller looms large in riposte.

Even did a little bit of that watery eye stuff in a, like, super macho, nah it’s just a respect thing bruv, kind of way..

Amaze! Amaze! Amaze!..

does anyone have advice?

2 weeks ago 0 2 1 0

Sadly, people are more interested in edgy likes from their echo chamber than actually conversing.

Right, left, whatever. Ultimately, unfortunately, a lot of the kind of self-ordained, outspoken, activists are, at the core, motivated more by a spot of dopamine than engaging in good faith.

Agree with all of that mate.

Would have taken Colwill, he becomes Maguire, for me.

Madueke is non-negotiable. Want him coming on in the heat to run at tired legs.

2 weeks ago 2 0 1 0

Basically, I think Burn/Maguire are more likely to be a decisive factor in a tight game than a MGW, and both are more likely to get minutes/be needed than him, too.

2 weeks ago 2 0 1 0

Ha! Yes for sure, agree.

Not that you’d want him there for prolonged periods, but Burn has covered LB, too, so could see a 75th O’Reilly to Burn sub if trailing.

With Stones fitness uncertain, I’m ok with taking the extra CB over an extra attacker, but respect others will see it differently.

Much like thoughts on MGW, agree that can over stack on positions. Difference in my mind, and we saw late on vs Japan, is that Maguire/Burn have theoretical value from set pieces/going direct.

It’s final roll of dice, clearly, but I think pumping it at Burn makes more sense than MGW as 5th no 10.

Fair, not sure he’s ever dragged us through anything on an international stage (or his team, domestically?)

Guess it revolves around ‘world class’ conversation. Feel like Kane is that, whereas it gets banded with Saka when he, like some others (Rice, Bellingham), have potential to be.

2 weeks ago 1 0 0 0

We’ll need Rice and Anderson to be excellent to have a good tournament.

Not to open the can of worms, and happy to be proved wrong, but has Saka ever ‘done it’ at an elite level game?

Think he needs that big, semi-final etc, performance.

Garner makes me more at ease with that, to be fair.

Imagine always way with squads, what if x and then y get injured, presume it never really happens.. 😀

Garner generally good example of my thinking. Like him as think he’ll help us beat superior opposition. Feel Trent more suited to dominating.

Interesting.. 😀

This caused me to seek out the 2022 Qatar squad..

When I look at that, and trying to avoid recency bias, I’m not sure any of those jump out as definite starters this time around.

2022 Maguire over Konsa, perhaps?
Shaw at LB?

That’s it?

2 weeks ago 0 0 1 0

England kind of are!

Kane plays.
Solanke deputy.
Rashford/Gordon have done it.

Can’t see any justification, based on any of ability, form, or squad make-up, for taking any more than one direct backup 9.

2 weeks ago 1 0 0 0

Think have to factor in what previous squads have been to certain extent. Ultimately, there aren’t really any ‘outside the box’ players I like who realistically have a chance.

I like Loftus-Cheek, but can’t include him. Trent’s clearly super talented, but wouldn’t start him RB (thus anywhere).

Reckon this would be my #England squad.

Solanke could easily be Watkins. That spot is TBC, possibly even for Tuchel, and may depend on form between now and end of season.

Henderson will go, but think this is 23/26 territory, with Burn/Maguire, Wharton and Solanke the likely dropouts.

2 weeks ago 3 0 4 0

Sure, I just don’t see when he gets on.

Isn’t going to start - behind Rogers, Bellingham and Palmer. Arguably Eze, too. And for a starting spot, if both were there, Foden.

Are you bringing him on to win the game in ET? Not for me.

Not knocking as a player but don’t see angle/point.
