Blue Origin has launched the BlueBird Block 2 FM2 mission aboard the first ever reused New Glenn rocket! Here is NSF’s Max Evans’ track from liftoff to main engine cutoff!

These satellites feature a 223 m² phased array, making them the largest commercial communications satellite ever deployed into Low Earth Orbit. The first BlueBird Block 2 spacecraft was launched by an ISRO - Indian Space Research Organisation LVM-3 rocket in December, 2025.

This flight will launch AST SpaceMobile's BlueBird 7 satellite to Low Earth Orbit. The 6,100 kg spacecraft is part of a new generation of BlueBird Block 2 communication satellites.

GS1-SN002 is to take to the skies from Launch Complex 36, no earlier than 6:45 a.m. EDT / 10:45 UTC. Blue Origin's Landing Platform Vessel 1 (LPV1), also known as Jacklyn, has been deployed for booster recovery.
