The schematic diagram compares traditional versus precision medicine approaches to the treatment of FSGS. By categorizing FSGS into subtypes based on non-invasive molecular and genetic profiling, precision medicine enables initiation of disease modifying therapy that targets the injury pathway activated in an individual patient together with non-specific renoprotective drugs. This combined treatment regimen will increase the likelihood of a treatment response and achieve improved kidney health outcomes compared to sequential prescription of renoprotective agents followed by empirical immunosuppressive therapy (IST). Cumulative incidence curves comparing amoxicillin-clavulanate to amoxicillin for acute sinusitis in adults. Graphs display treatment failure, new antibiotic use (with and without outpatient encounters), and antibiotic-associated adverse events over 14 days.

Among adults with #AcuteSinusitis, standard-dose amoxicillin-clavulanate did not reduce treatment failure compared with amoxicillin, while overall failure and hospitalization rates were low in both groups.
