I missed this a couple of weeks back, but it's making the rounds a bit today. I have, bluntly, zero MM connection -- the only song I know the name of is "Float On" and I couldn't tell you what it even sounds like. But this is much more about the business, the nature of fandom, and so forth.

I'm so late to it, but this was a pretty fascinating read.
