With Scotland currently at some degree of alert for water scarcity, finding methods/ longer term mitigation measures to manage water in a changing climate is of critical importance. Water availability is changing and we need to be prepared and put in mitigation measures now.

Irrigation lagoons can be a great asset on farm in times of water scarcity. Having this on farm to allow access to water when needed can help mitigate and take the pressure off in times of drought. AECS currently have funding for stand alone irrigation lagoons, but this is only open till 22 April.
