This is me at three years old, the youngest of seven kids, already fiercely independent and standing my ground.

That same determination drives me today. I know what it means to work hard, speak up, and fight for what matters.

Let’s do this, Riverina!

Infrastructure isn’t just about roads, mobile phone towers, or water pipelines. It’s about connection, safety, and opportunity.

I’m committed to fighting for the infrastructure our communities need, not just for today, but to future-proof our regions.

That’s a wrap on the first week of pre-poll.

Places I’ve been in the past week:
✅ Yass
✅ Adelong
✅ Tumut
✅ Wagga
✅ Young
✅ Cootamundra
✅ Junee
✅ and a few spots in between.

Real representation means being on the ground, showing up, listening.

As an independent, I’ll always prioritise Riverina.

Small businesses are the backbone of Riverina’s economy and the soul of our communities.

I’ve listened to small business owners across Riverina, and this policy position is shaped by what I’ve heard.

Today, I’m releasing three key policy positions: Gender Equality, Men’s Violence Against Women, and Domestic Violence.

To quote Rosie Batty, not all disrespect leads to violence, but all violence begins with disrespect.

I’m not here to play politics. I’m here to represent our community.

I’ve chosen not to do backroom preference deals because I believe in staying true to my values and putting people before politics.

If you believe in honest, transparent, independent representation, put me #1 on your ballot.

I was so fortunate to spend much of today with Louise of Highfield Farm and Woodland (and home of Kestrel Nest EcoHut) on Wiradjuri Land near #Adelong, where the Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council meets the Snowy Valleys Council.

It was pretty special to step off the campaign trail today to observe Good Friday and spend the afternoon with family at the Bidgee Strawberries and Cream’s annual Easter egg hunt.

What a fantastic event - well done to everyone involved.

One of the unexpected bonuses of running in this election is getting to meet people like Bec, a regenerative agriculture farmer.

A big thanks to Bec and neighbour Nick for taking time to take me around the farm and sharing your knowledge, stories, and vision.

What a privilege to attend the get together today in Young as Tex Robert Quigg presented the donations raised in Shave a Veteran Dale Morton during the Black Dog Ride Young in March.

$6,000 was donated to each of:
Young Community Hub
YCAC Crisis Accommodation Centre.

What an amazing effort!!!

How many more lives need to be shattered before the Barton Highway upgrade is treated as a priority?

I don’t care who forms government—if elected, I’ll work to represent Yass Valley and the people of Riverina to make sure the Barton Highway gets the upgrade it desperately needs.

The draw for the Riverina electorate is done!

I’m number 12 out of 13 candidates on the ballot and 12 is where it’s at!

12 eggs in a carton
12 inches in a foot
12 zodiac signs
12 disciples
12 days of Christmas

Coincidence? I think not.

Iconic. Easy to remember. Hard to beat.

I’m not buying into any organisation’s rhetoric. I live in the country. My family and neighbours are farmers. We have less than 6% arable land in Australia - that is “prime agricultural land” and there are currently proposals for industrialised solar in my area on cropping land. That’s not ideal.

Many residents in Riverina have told me about the stress created by rising energy bills, and the need for us to balance care for people and planet along with building capacity for generating the energy we need. We need solutions that create #energysecurity now.

There are two key questions Riverina residents have been asking me:

1. Who will you support if there's a hung parliament?

2. Who will get your preferences?

Here’s part 2/2 of my (detailed) answer to the first question.

S2 Bonus Episode 1: It's About The Growing Political Divide of Generation Z (7:18) It's Not About The Money (Australia) · Episode

This is the first election Australian Gen Z and Millennial voters outnumber Baby Boomers. It’s exciting!

Last year I had a chat with Dr Rachel Hogg about the widening political ideological divide of Gen Z men and women and the implications for elections and society.

A local resident sent me these photos. Do NOT use this form. This is from the National Party and the return address on the document is the current member’s office.

Our campaign is all about community - and so it was perfectly fitting that our very first “official” engagement after the election was called was to spend time with local families at the Coursing Park Tennis and Community Centre. What an amazing crew of people! Thanks Taryn for organising.

Too many ordinary Australians are struggling with cost of living pressures at the moment.

We need policies that target these root causes, reducing financial pressure on households and small businesses.

I’ve spoken with families across Riverina who can’t access local, affordable, appropriate childcare for all of their children.

I’ve also heard from experienced early childhood educators who are among Australia’s lowest paid workers.

It’s time for better childcare especially in the regions.

I’ve spent the past four months travelling around the Riverina electorate, listening to locals.

We’re now sharing policy positions and inviting feedback and conversation, starting with housing security, a concern for people of all ages and backgrounds.

Think Riverina is a “fairly safe” seat? Think again. The margin is only 9.7% and if the community wants change, the community can make change happen.

Together for Riverina is a grouo of ordinary people from across the political spectrum and the electorate who want to see politics done differently.

They’ve arranged a screening “No Safe Seat” and I’ll be joining in a Q&A afterwards.

Did you catch the budget reply speech tonight?

The absence of strong economic leadership and the reluctance of the major political parties to address the structural budget deficit through effective tax reform is deeply frustrating. We can’t keep kicking this can down the road - we need action now.
