The former slouches on it immediately, visibly exhausted, she starts complaining. “I’m so tired! But the one running around was Brego, I don’t get it!” Diana answers while she sits “Riding is actually very good exercise. I’m sorry to say you’ll be feeling its effects tomorrow.” [Panel 2] Suddenly hit with a regain of energy, Akko gets right back into shape, spilling a bit of her drink. “Oh, I almost forgot! You said before all that about cleaning your mother’s hospital, should we do that?”.

[Panel 3] “Not today. Figured we could enjoy the day before getting to work. But I understand if you’d rather enjoy the summer instead.” She replies, looking away, a bit disappointed to interrupt their time together with boring chores her invitee will most likely not want part of. [Panel 4] Akko frowns. “What’re you talking about? Of course I’m gonna help!” She declares, motivated. [Panel 5] “It will probably be quite tedious” Diana starts listing on her fingers. “We firstly have to figure out how to take them out of the water without damaging them, restoring them to their original form, classifying–”

[Panel 6] Akko cuts her, resting her head on her fist, she reiterates. “Seriously, Diana, you invited me over even though you already had plans. The least I could do is help you out with them.” [Panel 7] A wider cut of the scene reveals Akko in a convincing fired up pose. Diana capitulates. “Alright then, I won’t push back anymore. But we’re still enjoying the rest of today.” [Panel 8] Putting her arm on the bench’s back, with a smile, Diana asks *the* question. “So… Have you ever played magic chess?”

[Panel 9] So they play magic chess in front of the foyer, on (one of) the living room’s carpet. Akko is in deep thoughts, sitting with her legs crossed. Diana is side-sitting in front of her, waiting for her to be done with her turn. A plate with drinks and snacks is waiting for them, for when they’ll be less focused on the game to remember it. [Panel 10] Later, they have dinner with Daryl and her daughters. Akko is facing Diana, seemingly in a conversation together, but right now, Akko has her cheeks stuffed with food. [Panel 11] Later again, they’re playing the Shiny Chariot card game (Turns out Akko didn’t lie about it having a rule set). Akko is proudly snickering, positive of her soon to come victory. Diana humorlessly looks at the game, strategizing, she’s as engaged as Akko in winning.
