WE failed the SYSTEM by not voting consistently for those who had the power to command accountability. Every non voter, every purity voter, every racist and misogynist voter, ever lazy ass "I'm not into politics" voter LET IT GET THIS BAD.

9 million Americans have ME/CFS. There are still no FDA-approved treatments. This year, Congress can change that. Here's what we're asking for in FY27 appropriations: 🧡

Agreed. Ageism is an excuse. Throwing away people with the most knowledge and experience is short sighted. Learn to tell the difference between a healthy pro-democracy and a dangerous person, and vote accordingly.
Also vote in smart, talented young people and promote sharing knowledge.

It seems the appeal to masculinity, protection, fortune, etc. are quite powerful. Why do some humans react that way and what can effectively fulfill those desires with healthy aspirations?
I think this dynamic will continue unless we dig deeper into why so many have reacted positively to hate.

I think there's a portion of humans that are always attracted to conservativism. You can find it in every culture. We can't delude ourselves that "if only they would stop everything would be great." We should learn how to deal with it effectively, especially the psychological aspect.

They exist and are wasting CPS's valuable time. Families with autistic kids or severe illnesses are more at risk of being harassed this way, and it's not helpful. Still glad CPS exists to help kids who need it.

That argument is so tired. Congress isn't just about hot air. It's about the law, including documentation and "writing letters" to start real inquiry processes.

It sounds like they gave this soon after infection. I wonder if it's just helping with Long Covid fatigue or if it's helping to not get Long Covid?
If it's helping not get Long Covid, then would it do anything to help fatigue with patients who've already developed Long Covid?

And it never dawns on them that the same voices that lied to them are the same voices that tell them politicians in both parties are "all the same."

The left should be making campaigns to pierce the dissonance of this and other ridiculous messages being hammered by the right.

Pretty sure the non-liberal basket of deplorables have had a hand in warping people's opinions of potential allies.
They spend an inordinate amount of effort re-defining all facets of the left to EVERYONE, and we would do well to recognize it & smash their efforts by working together against them.

You have been primed to hate Jews through stereotypes and tropes and portrayals that you are likely not even aware are *about* Jews, but those seeds are waiting there. So when Israel does something awful, it just… makes sense. You always knew those people were sus.

The basement test to rule someone out is: are they a Nazi/Fascist/Pedophile, and from what I understand he fails and Mills passes. What am I missing here? Some of these people know this and they're still choosing, neigh endorsing him?? WTF?

Excerpt from an article on Euro News:
What does the name symbolise?
The Kheibar Shekan, meaning "Breaker of Khaybar" was named after the historical Battle of Khaybar between the early Muslims and the Jewish community in today's Saudi Arabia in 628.
In Shia-majority Iran, the Battle of Khaybar holds additional religious significance, as Imam Ali bin Abi Talib β€” considered the first successor to Prophet Muhammad β€” played a prominent role in the battle.
The battle's religious context also reinforces Tehran's narratives, couching the conflict with Israel as
"historical" and "ideological" despite the original battle taking place some 14 centuries ago.
The implicit reference to the expulsion of the Jewish community from the peninsula at the time β€” the end result of the Battle of Khaybar β€” is also believed to be a hint at Tehran's goal of eliminating the modern-day
State of Israel.
The Kheibar missile likewise derives its name from the same context. Its missile family is also known by its other name, Khorramshahr, which was derived from the eponymous Iranian city that was the site of a major battle in 1982 during the Iran-Iraq War.

Playing devil's advocate: maybe that's the point?
If there are hearings, maybe ask that specific question, if a marriage license is allowed by the law as proof of name change.
If not, what's their plan for millions of American women who took their husband's name?
Nail them down on it.
TY!

The GOP's "Save America Act" (SB 1383):
1. States that all states "shall" submit their voter registration lists to the DHS's "SAVE" voter purge program, which has error rates as high as 14% & relies on data from SSA whose databases were mishandled by DOGE per: (A) the SSA itself, (B) a whistleblower report by the SSA's former Chief Data Officer, & (C) a new whistleblower report, which alleges that a former DOGE member claimed to have kept his SSA computer & credentials providing
"God level" access to SSA systems.
(See also FN 1.)
2. Imposes no penalty for erroneous purges, but subjects officials to citizen suits & potential prison time for registering a single voter without correct documentation-even if the voter is a citizen. (Note: The GOP has wrongly purged thousands of voters in past elections.
3. Requires that everyone registering to vote or changing their registration (or re-registering after a faulty voter purge or moving) prove their citizenship in person with approved documentation, such as a U.S. passport (which is expensive).
4. Omits Real IDs from the list of approved registration
documentation, unless: (A) The Real
ID indicates US citizenship. (Only 5 states issue this type of Real ID) or
(B) The Real ID is presented with a certified birth certificate that matches the Real ID, which won't work for up to 69 million women whose last names don't match their birth certificates.
5. Omits marriage certificates from the list of approved documents, creating an immediate barrier for the 69M women in 4b, above, unless they can afford a passport.
6. Indicates that citizens with name changes-including the foregoing
69M women-can still register if their state comes up w/ an alternative process for them-subject to EAC guidance.
(Unclear if states are required to do this & gives no deadline for states to do it)
7. For citizens who still can't provide documentary proof of citizenship, requires that states establish an alternative process at some future unspecified date…

One of your slides says you can bring your marriage certificate, but I've seen several posts indicating that's not the case. Please find out which is correct and update. If marriage certificates aren't allowed this is much worse.
