Our Director of Research and Policy, @carlcullinane.bsky.social, was in Parliament today giving evidence to the joint inquiry on the Government’s new Child Poverty Strategy.

He outlined some of the key policies that are needed to improve educational outcomes for children living in poverty 📺⤵️

Jeez. Labour MP’s have just voted to give police unprecedented powers to ban recurring protests turning a fundamental freedom into a privilege granted by the state.

No protest movement has ever brought about change through one single march or action. How did it come to this?
