Big Thief - Masterpiece

Japanese Breakfast - Psychopomp

Discovered JB upon the release of the Jubilee album, but for some reason never gave the debut a solid listen. It's really quite good.

Might just make my top 5 as well. It's a great album.

Shame - Songs of Praise

Similar post punk mould to Fontaines. Stacks up pretty well imo.

Totally forgot about the Terence Trent D'Arby one. That's a great record.

Battles - Mirrored

The Music video for 'Atlas' was everywhere at the time. I still don't quite know how to describe this but the labels Math Rock and Experimental Rock are thrown around. Quite enjoyed the relisten.

Bat For Lashes - Fur And Gold

Natasha Khan went on to release even better stuff but this is a worthy debut. 'What's a girl to do' remains my favourite track.

Cohen definitely. Drake is most likely in my top 5 and The Band a possibility at this stage. Some tough choices!

Led Zeppelin 1

To young ears in the early 90s, these songs sounded electric and still do.

His books are definitely a lot of fun. If you like this, you should check out the First Law trilogy starting with The Blade Itself.
