Great to be at the opening of the E&N Trail extension from Columbia to Seventh this Earth Day.
Neighbours showed up, put in the work, and left something better behind.
That’s how strong communities are built — one project, one connection at a time.

Giving young people a reason to stay in British Columbia means more than talking about affordability.
It means building a province where they can see a future.
Good jobs in the trades, our ports, and in the industries shaping the future.

Honoured to be at the Nanaimo - Ladysmith Schools Foundation donors event.
As a former scholarship recipient, I’ve seen what happens when a community invests in young people.
The return isn’t measured in dollars, it’s measured in lives changed, futures built, and stronger communities.

I welcome the Province’s commitment to advance the core principles of my Bill M216, the Professional Reliance Act.
We need to build homes faster—so young people can stay, families can put down roots, seniors can age in place, and renters can find a home.

I recently toured the Surrey Langley SkyTrain precast concrete yard with Premier Eby.
Over 1,100 segments have already been produced for the elevated guideway.
Also, this project has created 1,400 craft construction jobs this past year.

As Parliamentary Secretary for Transit, using the SkyTrain is a highlight.
Since 2017: $11.6B invested in transit on the lower mainland.
🚇Broadway Subway (2027): 3x capacity
🚇Surrey–Langley (2029): major expansion south of Fraser
Transit connects people and builds opportunity.

It was great to visit British Columbia Institute of Technology Annacis Island campus where students train on real locomotives, rail systems, and industrial engines used across B.C.
This is how we connect education to industry, and build a skilled workforce for the future.

It was great to welcome the Minister of Forests @rparmarbc.bsky.social to #Nanaimo
Strong conversations about supporting workers, growing our forest sector, and building sustainably. Grateful to work with Minister Parmar who is working hard to champion this industry for B.C.

Fun night at the #Nanaimo Clippers game taking part in Chuck-A-Puck with BC Transit supporting the Help Fill a Dream Foundation.
Fill a Dream helps children with life-threatening illnesses experience the joy of a dream come true. Proud to see our community step up for such a great cause. 🏒
The Royal Canadian Legion marks 100 years of service in 2026, and membership is free this year.

Humans rights are not negotiable.
Just a reminder, there is still time to register to join MLA George Anderson for a Community Town Hall. It’s an opportunity to connect, ask questions, and share what matters most to you. He will provide updates on provincial initiatives and investments in Lantzville.
Happy International Women’s Day.
Grateful to learn, know, and work alongside so many inspiring women.
There’s still more work to do, to advance equity, and I will work every day to help us get there.

At the Natural Resources Forum in Prince George, I heard a clear message:
People are ready to invest, build, and train the next generation.
BC’s natural resources mean jobs, apprenticeships, and opportunity.

Human rights must stand above politics.
I spoke in the Legislature about why dignity cannot be conditional. Rights are rarely lost all at once, they’re weakened little by little.
In B.C., human rights are not negotiable. Now or ever.
