Anyone else listening to the global village idiot just now?
What the hell?
Four years is going to be a very long time.

A #scots word for this evening. I’m jiggered. A long day #glasgow to #Edinburgh and I’m feeling it now. Deciding to go a #shortcut through the #advocatesclose on a wet night as an honorary #pirate wasn’t the best idea either 🤣 Always said the best bit about the capital was the train home
On #unitednations #internationalday #disabilities I’d like to thank all the amazing #nhs staff at the #beatson in #glasgow, the #royalinfirmary also
In Glasgow and finally the amazing staff at #WestMARC who saved me, then put me back together again. #thankyou #blessed #scottishnhs #glasgownhs
I know exactly what you are referencing. A small wood 🤣
It’s not. I think we all craved ‘normal’ through the pandemic and I did the same when I was diagnosed. But my normal now changes on a day to day basis. It’s not chaos, it’s not a shame and it’s definitely not something people should feel sorry about on my behalf. I get on with life and accept it.
The only downside, even from a distance, it kinda looks like the old Tory logo. But I don’t hold that against it.
Normal is such a nothing concept used by folk who don’t know what they are talking about. That’s ok, I’m happy that people haven’t experienced what I experienced. I wouldn’t wish what on anyone. But I’ll never be back to what I was before this, and I’m acceptive of that. Wish others were too.
I always hoped that this was done from a point of caring but not knowing what to say. Doesn’t lessen how much silence would have been the better option though.
M74 Southbound. East Kilbride. I love that there are more of us out there 🤣
I have a favourite tree. I’ve never visited it as I’d hate it to disappoint me. It’s high on a hill off the motorway and is a sign that I’m heading home. I always look for it. Yes, I’m a weird one.
I genuinely cheered when I heard this on the radio. Then started crying. As someone who has had to contemplate life, and death, this past year I’m relieved that this has passed its first significant hurdle. Hopefully Scotland now follows.
As someone who has had time over the past year to contemplate death, I really hope that the #assistedying legislation is voted through on Friday. In most of these cases, dignity will already have been lost in final months of life, the least we can do as a society is give them dignity in death #uk
A very #scottish solution to an actual bomb scare at work #Augustiner #Helles
Another day another dollar.
After being off for so long it’s genuinely great to be back, engaging with great colleagues on really worthwhile work.
Chemo has definitely changed me 🤣🤣🤣
Listening to them on the radio there infuriated me. Moaning about how they put food on our table. Nope. I put food on my table, by paying them for it. They get plenty. No sympathy for millionaires while people live in poverty.
Cycled along there loads in way to work
It’s the #scottinaccio
The Scottish boys playing in Italy is definitely having an impact. #scottishnt #scotland Cmon Scotland
Introduce yourself with four footballers
Dennis Law has a phenomenal record ina relatively modern age. The guys with the really high goals per game stat played in an era when there wasn’t really any defenders, the era of half backs etc
Well that you just jinxed it 🤣
Such a Scotland thing
Our first message here on @bsky.app
We might be the first #lawnbowls #bowls club to post here. Hopefully not the last though.
I chose to leave the other place because of the danger posed by the Bond villain in charge.
For the same reason I’ll also not now aspire to own a tesla.
I’d forgotten it was on. Brother messaged me at full time to ask if I’d watched it.
Just like Scotland to almost Scotland it again. After 47 losses (or whatever it actually is) is this a new dawn though or just Scotland doing what Scotland does?
A couple of Cheese and Onion toasties in the (knock off) Breville
I’m part pirate (the leg part) and always looking for hints and tips on living my best life
