«Te informamos de que hemos cambiado nuestra forma de trabajar y a partir de ahora todas las solicitudes de proyectos que recibas serán de posedición. Esta es nuestra tarifa de posedición». En resumidas cuentas, se trataba de un «lo tomas o lo dejas».
La tendencia histórica del capitalismo ha sido, es y será siempre plutocrática, no democrática, como clásicamente viene diciéndose desde el #republicanismo.
Es urgente construir y escalar otro modelo económico, empresarial y de consumo. Y aquí el #cooperativismo tiene mucho que aportar.

Our colleague Timothy McKeon spoke with @cnn.com recently about the perils of AI for the translation industry.
“The more it learns, the more obsolete you become,” he said. “You’re essentially expected to dig your own professional grave.”
By doing our work as humans we are taking a personal stand and pushing back against this monoculture. But our stance also adds value to what we do. If you write, edit or translate with AI – even outside of professional contexts – you'll end up sounding the same as everyone else who uses it.

Good literary translation requires understanding (language, culture, genre--on both sides of the translation) and an ability to write well. "AI" can't do that. There are no shortcuts. Treat your work and foreign language readers with the respect they deserve. You won't fool anyone with this.
