A two-tone Argus C3 Match-Matic 35mm rangefinder camera sitting on a weathered wooden table.

The #Argus C3 Match-Matic showed up the other day, Initially, I thought it was broken. Turned out to just be gummed up, and some naphtha and elbow grease worked loose the gears that control the rangefinder. I put a roll of #Kentmere Pan 200 in it & it’s ready to shoot — as soon as I get light.

This is the Coppergate Helmet, named after its find location in York. It’s Anglo-Saxon & one of only 6 helmets surviving from the period. If you look at the nose guard, it has fantastical animals weaving through the decoration. It’s wonderful.
