I like the idea of both parents doing it as like a “look at how far our baby has grown” thing. I also like the idea of one or both parents walking the bride halfway, the other half being on her own, as a symbolic thing of moving onto a new chapter of her life.

I think that might actually be what it originates from? The concept of daughters being the father’s property, hence why men used to have to ask the father for permission to marry their daughter. A lot of odd traditions like that usually root back to that stuff.

I ordered a stylus specifically for this game’s makeup system, I’m gonna be so cracked once it arrives. I do think my one attempt at makeup so far though looks hella funny
