Congrats to the Wu fam, but in any other country this would be an abject failure of policy that cares for family.

I did that for Christmas a couple years back. I hope you got the anti-virals. I've had some painful surgeries (un-medicated c-section, anyone?) but I did not know you could hurt as much as shingles delivered. I was begging the doc for meds to get thru the night.

I’d do the manual cross out, and add an environmental bent to my answer: i edited the cards to make sure they get at least one use before they hit a recycling bin - trying to save the planet one piece of paper at a time…

Great question! I find once the quilt moves away from functional in its intent, I go to “fiber art” even tho I realize that easily goes beyond anything that is technically (3 layer sandwich stitched through) a quilt.
