Itβs fucking bizarre how people are acting like something from 2022 is something they canβt live without.
Like dudes, the emotional dependence on a sycophantic machine regurgitating nonsense to encourage you to stop engaging in critical thought and trust the slop is truly depressing to witness.
Pete Hegseth β Secretary of Defense, self-proclaimed Christian warrior, man who tattooed "Deus Vult" (God wills it, the battle cry of the Crusades) on his body β led a prayer service at the Pentagon and solemnly recited what he called "Ezekiel 25:17." There's just one problem. That's not a Bible verse. That's a Quentin Tarantino script. The "prayer" Hegseth read is Samuel L. Jackson's famous monologue from Pulp Fiction β a speech the character Jules Winnfield delivers right before he executes someone. Jules himself admits in the film that he never actually looked it up. He recited it because, and I quote, "I thought it was just a cold-blooded thing to say to a motherf---er before you popped a cap in his ass." Hegseth didn't know the difference.
He's sooooooo religious he doesn't even know the fucking Bible. π π€¦π»ββοΈ. Same insanity level as his boss who is also sooooo religious but has no idea what depictions of Jesus look like.
