Just in case anyone doesn't have this from the olden days, you should always fill out an Authorization To Make Music form BEFORE you start making any music. It can help reduce mistakes and optimize your reliability and, also, it's legally mandatory.

I recorded and mixed this album for Kiya recently. It's mainly live, stripped back and very acoustic. But on the last song Dizzy, she said to go off and do what I like with it. So I did. 😊

1950s dictation machine
Friend of mine found this in a charity shop today. They thought it was a vinyl lathe for one off discs or acetates. It's not. It's a dictation machine from the 50s that records on a magnetic disc.

Mandolin made in 1933
My Great-grandfather made this mandolin in 1933. After years in a mess it was restored last year & it's playable again!
I learnt enough to join in at an Irish session, as a one off so my Dad could hear it played again.
Turns out it wasn't a one off, I'm a trad musician now. #mandolin #folkmusic
