Iowa City Made Its Buses Free. Traffic Cleared, and So Did the Air.

In #Iowa City, buses have been #fare-free since August 2023 and the results are impressive; ridership jumped, driving dropped by 1.8 million miles. 🚍🌍 The city council has now extended the pilot program after seeing faster boardings, fewer cars on the road. 🔄💨
