As my next 📖 involves obscure people in #history, I've felt my #research skills improving, but now I'm at Chapter 24 of the #PrinceRupert bio by @1642author.bsky.social and...wow. Mark built up cipher keys, then used them to decode letters. As a result, there's so much new insight in his book.😎

@1642author.bsky.social's Rupert bio assures me I shouldn't.😆 It examines Rupert–Digby discord, starting with a 1642 tale, and explains the discord would 'erode the Royalist cause from within'. Good theory re where it began, too!
