3. Nurse Alice had only been in France for about a week when she lost her life on 3rd June 1918 when she went swimming with a friend and got caught in a powerful current, her friend made it back, but Alice drowned aged 34. She is buried at Wimereux Cemetery, France. #WW1 #TFNS
