Game On (Into Darkness #3) by Navessa Allen
Game On (Into Darkness #3) by Navessa Allen. This is a spicy enemies to lovers book with great writing, humor, and snark. Lights Out is the first book in the series and still my favorite so far. I think this had far fewer trigger warnings than the rest of the series. #BookSky #BookRecommendation

Snowed In: Love and Fame - Navessa Allen. While not nearly as spicy as her other books, it is an enjoyable love story set filled with solid info about Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). The male main character is a former professional American football player. #BookSky #BookRecommendation

Run For The Hills by Kevin Wilson. It takes found family literally as half-siblings find each other on their way to track down their father. It would make a good 90s era independent film. #BookSky #BookRecommendation

I think you will like the books. It is more focused on that than the show was.
There isn't a lot of lore that you would need in the first two books. The main things to know are it is nothing like the TV show and these were written in the 90s. Everything else they remind you if it is important.

Hera, a tabby cat, posing on top of a pile of blankets.
Happy 7th Birthday, Hera! If you are celebrating the holiday, you should partake in some of her favorite things: movies/TV where humans get eaten by zombies, catnip-flavored treats, Hawaiian bread, Panera's bagettes, the smell of a vet tech's fear, hunting down a bunny rabbit, and naps.
