I hope there is something that can be done for NC voters who do not want their voter data shared with DHS. I am squarely in that camp.

It's complete bullshit the states' rights party is rolling over for the federal government every chance they get.

Fuck these people.

I've seen so many bees and butterflies flitting around the last few days. I caught this beautiful swallowtail sunning herself on a patch of concrete. #butterfly #shotonpixel #pixelography #swallowtail #photography #insects

My Letterboxd Friday of the last four films watched ending the week of April 10, 2026. They all starred Margaret Rutherford as Agatha Christie's sleuth Miss Marple. They were "Murder She Said", "Murder at the Gallop", "Murder Most Foul", and "Murder Ahoy".

Margaret Rutherford is awesome! I spent the week watching her quartet of Miss Marple films. The lady can wield a sword with aplomb! #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched #movies #filmsky

The Naked Gun 2 1/2 is my favorite NG movie and thought the newest does well continuing the tradition. Ballerina was an ass kicking good time while Primate was better than I was expecting. Chinatown lives up to the accolades. #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched #movies #filmsky

A little faded, but not too shabby for a nearly twenty-nine year old ticket.

Growing up in the Space Shuttle era I always get nervous seeing manned launches. While not as cool as seeing a launch, I did get to see Atlantis land at Edwards Air Force Base on December 1, 1991 as STS-44. The sonic boom as it entered the atmosphere was deafening. #nasa #spaceshuttle #atlantis

I visited Kennedy Space Center last November and it was a dream. Seeing a Saturn V on display was awe-inducing. Thrilled to see Artemis II with a successful launch this evening. #nasa #space #artemisII #kennedyspacecenter

A happy birthday to an icon. I was fortunate enough to visit it a couple years ago. She's a beaut.

It's kinda like being a fan here on Bluesky and having an author like or respond to something and I'm all like "OMG They liked and/or responded to my post!" 😅

I have 11 movies on TCM scheduled to record over the next two days to go with the 30+ already on the DVR from #31DaysofOscar. Phew. It's been a sublime month of movie watching.

It was a glorious 75 degrees here yesterday. It's currently 30 and I woke up to heavy rain that changed to blowing sleet and snow. My dog took a step outside this morning and was like WTF?! 😭

Nice! This early March weather is such a tease. Spring Fever is in full effect and I'm practically itching to do yard work. There's gotta be something dastardly in the works from the weather gods. #boonenc #weather #currentconditions #falsespring

A couple of Marx Brothers comedies to start. The train heist in "The Wild Bunch" was badass. #FilmSky #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

It's embarrassing how much these guys brag about what should be a given. I mean we spend a trillion dollars a year on defense, we should be able to overwhelm another country.

It's crazy the Call of Duty style bravado displayed when we're attacking weaker and smaller countries. It's clown show shit.

I'd love for this to be a precursor to NC cleaning house this fall. This state needs a legislative and judicial reset in the worst way.

She's my representative, unfortunately. I've voted against her every time and she will continue to be elected because of how gerrymandered we are in NC.

Her district runs from here in Watauga to over two hours away reaching the northern portion of Guilford County.

It's ridiculous and infuriating.

It sucks continually being disappointed in people that could make a positive difference deciding to do the opposite. It's difficult to find a silver lining so here's a pink-ish one instead from Key West. #photography #shotonpixel #sunset #pixelography #keywest #florida

I finished it a few days ago. I'm not religious at all but found it to be an enjoyable, enlightening and thought provoking read. I would like to think most of us can agree on the underlying principles of human decency and compassion that Jesus espoused. He was a good dude. Thanks for writing it!
