A warning to everyone digging into the 1926 Irish census at their family history. Today very disturbing facts in my own Dublin family history were confirmed. One great grandparent was a bogger born in Cork and another was a Brit.

Having a dig in the 1926 Irish Census. Here is actor Wilfrid Brambell (Albert Steptoe) living in Dún Laoghaire, he was born in Harold’s Cross.
