I do in fact enjoy tomatoes

Just know whenever I text you, there’s no obligation for any emojis or to respond right away
So many more steps! And sometimes the emails are only one word
I just got an email asking if I like tomatoes and then a follow up email five minutes later stating that they really liked tomatoes. This is hilarious but I’m so confused.
I love all my friends over the age of 70 but I get really confused when they just sent me a bunch of emails instead of texting. At times like these I really feel the age gap.
The beginning of your most recent video was masterful performance art and the fact that it’s making a man squirm elevated it to a new level. I applaud how you wielded your words this day.
I have been periodically, chuckling to myself watching a bunch of spiders, take down a man. Positively splendid to witness.
I want to make a sculpture of one so badly
A concept showing a double page spread. The left page is a chapter intro for coleoptera with a monochrome pencil sketch of a bamboo weevil. The right page shows my goliath beetle drawing in full colour.
A concept showing a double page spread. The left page is a chapter intro for mantodea with a monochrome pencil sketch of a funky skinny mantis (I forget its name). The right page shows my banded flower mantis drawing in full colour.
Want to see something cool? I'm currently working on chapter pages for my book, and landed on the idea of using slightly more sketchy black and white illustrations to contrast with the full-colour drawings. Here are 2 concepts I've done so far...
Pattiegonia the incredible environmental drag queen made a comment saying. You have free tickets to my show to wherever location you wanna come to and I think you’ll find what you’re looking for. Dm me!
I’m being completely normal about this.
hey friends, got two mutual aid requests this morning (not for me!): one is for a queer Black woman in NC and the other for a trans woman in Texas. I’ll do one link here, one in the next post.

Nicole’s painting of a variety of cicadas on a square canvas hangs up with a black frame in someone’s home above a cabinet with blankets. This photo is just a little further away, so the view is through a doorway.
I always get really excited when I get sent pictures of my Art hanging up in someone’s home! Look at my cicadas doing such a good job!
✍️ can go wheeeeee in a helicopter, ride a big boat and see the moon if you’re an astronaut✍️
Helicopter creates cool ripples on the ocean as it picks up an astronaut

Nicole watches as the Artemis two team returns to earth. She is very excited.
Nicole stairs at a TV screen as the crew module integrity separates for reentry
I ended up catching the moment it separated. SO COOL

I GOT IN!!
A macro photo of a colorful assassin bug on a gray twig at night, with a couple of thin, curved, green leaves behind it. The insect has bright red legs with black markings, a red thorax with yellow margins, and red and black wings folded over its wide, yellow-and-black abdomen.
A gorgeous assassin bug (bee assassin, Apiomerus sp., I think A. flaviventris) spotted by @mhedin.bsky.social at night during our recent macro workshop in Anza-Borrego Desert, CA. This species is known to collect plant resins and apply them to their eggs as a protective chemical coating. #Bugsky 🐙🌿
Keep working at it! Most people, including myself see only a little improvement after just a year so don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s taking me 20 years to get to this point.
