Anyway yes I have bought multiple Stones in the past four days 🫠 I am not making good or smart choices

Some years Breyer puts out nothing that speaks to me and then, inevitably, what Stone's doing does. It's a cycle but man, I'm looking forward to Breyer hitting for me again. It's so much cheaper.

The funniest part of #NaMoPaiMo for me is when I hit the "I can't take it anymore, I gotta make some tack!" point... which is why my NaMoPaiMo horses end up with nameplate halters.

The beauty of deciding to do NaMoPaiMo like three days before it starts is that it's going to prevent me from picking at my prepping for... like, years 😅

Just a little nitpicky cleanup and another coat or two of primer, so I'm hoping I can start painting on Monday!

Part of why there's been very little model horse talk here is because I've been too busy playing video games.

... Anyway, I think 2026 will be the year where I actually make all of the video game tack I've kept telling myself I should make in miniature someday.

What's the over/under on that donkey being named "Pancakes" I wonder 🤔

Not a lot of model horse talk as I've been busy hibernating (read: playing too many video games 😅). I've got ideas and projects coming up, though, so hopefully there will be plenty of tack talk coming in the new year!

I don't collect mini #modelhorses, but while I was out antiquing last weekend I couldn't resist this teeny-tiny guy.

Plus, he's so small I barely had to tidy up my workbench to take a picture! (There's some productive mess happening at present, hence the radio silence)

I don't really have a #modelhorse in my shopping cart at the moment (unless I give in and get a Jennifer Scott Maybelline. I'm out of space so I'm resisting...)

But my supply hoarding tendencies know no bounds, so I will be getting some more tackmaking stuff (leather, edge paint, knives) soon!

I think he makes a more convincing Friesian than a lot of their other options, so I've got a feeling they're avoiding it because black is "boring". Maybe with Cosimo being such a hit they'll come around?

I just *so* want to put together a four-in-hand of (Fraley) Friesians!
