For PaloMonday I have my completed #NaMoPaiMo project! I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Not perfect, but definitely a palomino and the largest size model horse I've painted so far.

My namopaimo custom so far. I sculpted her neck and mane, bent her leg and gave her some muscle. I imagine her as a hardy, reliable finnhorse in bay pangare color

One side is getting pretty close (I'm saving the head and tail for last). The other side... Well, it still needs a lot of work. #NaMoPaiMo

I'm waiting on a bit more paint to arrive, as I was not quite as prepared as I thought! I plan on masking off the white markings when it's time to start putting down the color. See how that works out.
Yes, she's lumpy. My goal is accurate color, not pro level finish. And having fun!

Photo of the horse in my hand to show it's scale. It's very small and can fit in my palm. You can also see more of the purple/blue effect in it's coat. They are painted to resemble Black Beauty and so they are a black horse with a white pastern on their left hind leg, and a white star on their forehead.
I painted a little Black Beauty for #NaMoPaiMo!
This was my first time participating in an official capacity and I'm proud of myself for actually committing—and finishing—on time! 🐎✨

Work in progress custom Breyer Stablemate Shire model horse being customized into a pegasus with grackle-like colorings.
Finally getting some paint on the #NaMoPaiMo pony! (We'll ignore the fact that I've spent most of this month sculpting and not painting. 😂)
Coloring will be grackle-like with some gold highlightings. Just working on laying in the colors now with light washes that will build up towards black. 🎨 #art
