Bourgeois swells in top hats, fur-trimmed coats and dinner suits - I'm guessing the 19th century equivalent of members of the Bullingdon Club - emerge, looking the worse for wear, from an open doorway. Hanging from their arms are ladies festooned in richly decorated frills and furbelows. There is rubbish and a discarded bouquet of flowers in the gutter. A bunch of plainly-clad proles on their way to work have stopped to make way for the toffs. Or maybe they're just looking at them in disgust.
