do I get to love you, even a little bit, if at all?

I find myself writing everywhere. hell, i’ve pulled the car over to write down a thought. I have so much in my head, in my books but very few words in my mouth. at the end of the day, my writing will always be for me, sharing is for me. i will never write for anyone else; it’s not true to me.

do i get to love before
the sun sets?
do i get to
Love
or do the lines get too…
do i get to love at all?
do you love me at all?
or is it a midnight thing?

I think I might share more of my notebook drafts, they’re all real, raw, unedited and i think they’re more beautiful than any formatted and perfected piece of work i’ve ever written.

Hello fellow writers and booklovers! I'm not great at social media, but after dreaming of writing since I was 15, this sunrise finally made me commit for real.

What was your sunrise moment?

i think it was last year; reading a poem i write when i was 15 to a group of people in the hospital. i was the youngest person there by about 10 years, and I brought a few people to tears. I had given words to feelings many people had but couldn’t express themselves. that was all i needed.

🐝🐝🐝🐝QUESTION:

is bluesky a good place to post draft writes to get advice or feedback? I am lacking in writing community and would love to share and be shared with here!

I write. Like a lot. It almost doesn’t stop. Not much of it is coherent, but i still write. there is so much I want to say, and so little words. there’s only one way to find more. My current fixation is the Language Insufficiency Hypothesis. I hope to be able to explore my head here :)

i wanted to have a little share about me on here!!

I am 21, living and writing from Canberra, Australia. I have travelled and moved around a lot, up and down the East Coast and South East Asia. My goal at the moment is to share, create and help people feel seen.

Early stroll. That tree seems almost too big for that garden. A TV plays to an empty settee. Those puddles definitely haven’t shrunk in the wash. Unusually, the dentist’s lights are on; they shine like teeth. This weather as animal: drizzly bear.

poem reads: the trees on my street share whisperings of summers passed
you can smell it on their sunburnt leaves
something feels different this year
they told me
but i am not home
and christmas is already over

pen drawing of a closed front door, boxes and suitcase sit to the left. on the right wall a frame reads “sometimes the kindest thing you can do for someone you love is help. help them to leave, go. to go” text under the door reads “so you make them go. love them from a distance, so you can love them at all.”
