A small person in a black leotard walks up a walkway heading into a gymnasium.
It’s my six-year-old’s first day of gymnastics ever, and she is doing so well. The most obvious manifestation of her Trisomy X diagnosis is extreme social anxiety, so new experiences like this are often overwhelming but she is KILLING IT right now and I am fighting back the tears of pride.
It is SO INTERESTING!!! People really do have these completely life changing experiences and I absolutely love being their first point of contact; I had been out of the workforce for a loooong time and this is an amazing re-entry in such a cool field. I’m very grateful.
Truly no idea what I’m doing here so here’s a REAL TIME UPDATE; I am sitting at my favorite coffeehouse catching up on work (I’m the admissions director for a clinic in Baja California, Mexico that treats patients using ibogaine) and texting my sister about the YMCA. And you??
My favorite non-woven project at the moment. #junkjournal
@loominarium.bsky.social oh thank god i found you here
Colorful handwoven wall hanging with large knot in shades of cream, pastel rainbow and pops of neon.
A small woven wall hanging I completed yesterday.
Today I am THIRTEEN YEARS alcohol-free.
My life is infinitely better now.
If I can do it, you can do it.

Amazing performances by all, for sure.
No idea. Following (I think?) in the event that anyone has… any ideas
@ovobloom.bsky.social yesssss MY FIRST FOLLOW HELLO
WOW starting over on a social media platform feels fucking insane and yet here we all are. Once upon a time I wrote about divorce, sobriety and single parenthood with a side of neurodivergence and childhood trauma, co-parenting and queerness in middle age… I think I still do?
Oh yes. I also weave.
