I should do a giveaway here too!
I'll randomly select someone who retweets this to receive a signed copy of Daughter of Crows 🙂

This is the joy of pre-ordering books. Just got an email to say that it's on its way, having totally forgotten that I'd ordered it! 😄
What a great game between Ireland and Scotland, despite ITV doing their best to ruin it with adverts during the match. How much do we have to crowdfund to help the BBC get all the coverage next year? 💰🏉 #6Nations
I think it was as much wishful thinking on my part as I wanted Yoshinofuji to win the bout! So yes, I know that Aonishiki can put his hand down to prevent him from landing on his opponent, but I felt like they were both falling together. But I'm no expert, and a little biased!
I also watched on twitch! I believe that the explanation for the decision was that Aonishiki's hand touched down at the same time as Yoshinofuji's body, but watching the replays, I think the hand touches down first, so I disagreed with the decision.
"To boldy go"! 🤣
Yes - so many ways to win. I particularly enjoyed the slapping! 😆
It was fantastic, wasn't it?! Surprisingly entertaining given how short the contests tend to be. I didn't realise how impressive the Shiko leg lift was until I tried it myself - much harder than it looks.
We're under pressure to use AI tools for content design, but also to quantify how much more productive they're making us. We already use in-house GenAI tools and agents, but it's hard to come up with use cases that make us more productive. Would you courses help even if we're already using AI?
Argh - me too. I feel like I've spent the whole of this week trying to set up tracking in Jira. It must be the most unintuitive tool I've ever used. 🤯
Brilliant - I think I've come across most of these this morning alone!
Nice. I do prefer a handheld device.
Ooo, what's a Steam Deck?

How I wish I lived closer. I've spent many a happy hour in the hides at Insh Marshes. They have some fantastic events there - I've always wanted to do the guided canoe tour.
It was in my Christmas book haul, but I'm planning to read the library trilogy first. My reading pile is much bigger than my free time pile.

A snow bunting foraging in long, snowy grass.
That was a well-timed post. I spotted a snow bunting today and took a couple of (not great) photos to confirm identification.
We can highly recommend these trips. It's amazing to be in among the herd, out in the snow-covered hills, and to learn so much from the "herders". I'd love to get a voucher for Christmas! 🦌

OK, I'm bringing out the big guns to test Bluesky engagement😀
Repost & follow to be in the draw!
One randomly selected person will get this signed (& dedicated) copy of the Locked Library special edition of THE BOOK THAT WOULDN'T BURN.
I'd like some real-world, practical use cases for using GenAI tools in tech docs. And maybe something on what customer preception is of docs that contain AI-generated content, and how we should communicate that to our users. I really just want to know how to prevent being replaced by AI!
I'm following you on both, but I'll ditch Twitter when more people that I follow move to Bluesky.
That depends… do you mean are we well-behaved or are we good at following? Actually it doesn’t depend at all - it’s a “no” to both.
Pink and purple aurora above silhouettes of trees
Bright red Aurora above silhouettes of trees
I’d never seen the aurora until 4 weeks ago, but now I’ve seen them twice in a month! Didn’t expect to see such dramatic aurora in Southern Britain! 😮
And another….

Thursday night’s Aurora from Kilmaluag on the Isle of Skye. (My first time photographing the aurora, but I’m pretty pleased with it.)
Print edition? ❓🙏
Just jumped from Twitter, but I feel like the first person at a party. Hoping some people I know turn up soon! 😆 In the meantime - any recommendations on who to follow?
