I wrote a Blogpost for #FEMSmicroBlog about our recent publication in which we show that some T4SS effectors of Brucella can associate to outer membrane vehicles. Check it out!

Last conference of 2025 is in the books.
Lovely community and exciting science! #microsky
Check out our latest preprint, which developed from a chance finding during my PhD.
Third conference of 2025 is done. EMBO/FEBS Biology of host-pathogen interaction was a blast. Super interesting science and a super nice crowd! And what a venue!

👯 🎵 🦠Surviving Superbugs – A Dance To Resist🦠 at the Voltahalle last night was a spectacular performance, followed by an apéro with our professors and researchers.
We also welcomed the event's dancers to the

Thanks to all!
The second conference of 2025 is in the books.
Lots of exciting science at The International Conference on Type 4 Secretion Systems in Nancy. My bluesky-less MSc student won the poster prize, I did get the second best talk. Full success!
I guess the conference views don't get much better than this!
