Sehr toll!! Ich habe das Buch von Routledge ohne die Hilfe von einem Lehrer ziemlich schwierig gefunden :( Ich hoffe, ich kann bald Persischunterricht auf Italki anfangen 🤞🏻

🇦🇷 started making flashcards for all the new vocabulary words i’m encountering while reading Un Mundo Inmenso. skipped 2 days, so i’m currently 2 chapters behind. will try to catch up before january ends!

🇮🇷 i’ve been enjoying Assimil a lot and i can see myself making progress with every new lesson. trying to stick to no more than 2 lessons per day to avoid getting bored or losing motivation. currently on lesson 25. so far so good :)

🇩🇪 still doing my daily morning Clozemaster sessions, currently working my way through Fast Track 3. i’m learning less new words each day as they are getting harder.

thought i’d be able finish Busuu’s B1 course by the end of the month, but it’ll probably take a little longer, and that’s fine :)

For this week, I didn’t get to do as much language learning as I wanted to, but I got to spend a lovely time with my family in Alexandria for Christmas on Jan 7!

Eigentlich lerne ich kein Spanisch, zumindest nicht aktiv. Ich versuche im Januar nur jeden Tag ein Kapitel aus meinem Spanischbuch zu lesen.

Ich versuche, alle 3 Sprachen (Deutsch, Persisch, Spanish) am gleichen Tag zu lernen. Ich habe festgestellt, dass es sehr hilft, eine Sprache immer morgens zu lernen und die andere abends. Dadurch baue ich eine Gewohnheit auf und verwechsele die Sprachen nicht

As for the subscription price, I bought the yearly subscription at 50% off during Black Friday and I think it was a decent deal :)

They have 'sentence lists' grouped by topic for several languages. This is the one for French, for example: www.clozemaster.com/l/fra-eng/fr...
You can find the other languages in which these lists are available at the end of the page and I believe the topics are the same for all of them.

Tips for people learning languages. If you make a search on BlueSky using " lang: " and then the two-letter ISO code for that language, you'll get all posts by people who have told BlueSky they are typing in that language.

For example I searched "lang:is" and got all posts in Icelandic.

🇫🇷 - Can’t say I’m focusing on French at all this month. I do one grammar lesson or practice with Clozemaster whenever I feel like it, but that’s about it. I mainly just watch vlogs in French or listen to a podcast episode when I’m cooking.
Also, the Persian Assimil book is in French!

🇦🇷 - currently reading Un Mundo Inmenso by one of my favorite youtube channels for Argentinian Spanish and I’m having so much fun with it! The book is 30 chapters long, so I should be to finish it this month.

🇮🇷 - Farsi is a language I’ve been meaning to learn for the longest time! I watch a lot of Iranian movies and would love to be able to watch them with persian subtitles. I started out with Routledge’s Introductory Persian book, but it was quite difficult without a teacher, so i switched to Assimil

I do my Clozemaster reviews first thing in the morning followed by a grammar lesson in the afternoon and/or Busuu B1 lessons. I also practice writing daily with whatever topic Busuu’s chapter happens to be focusing on

We use صاحب صاحبو in the same way in Egypt too! :)
