Oh no. This is heartbreaking.

Giving #Needlepoint a spin this weekend. Do not hate the incredible uniformity of the stitches. This is something I really struggle with in #embroidery. But rawdogging this design without marking the canvas is kinda wild. #wip

Hey! So I built up the moss using two layers of felt cut in contours and then mostly used a three-wrap French Knot. Moss is a two tone wool/acrylic blend and the bud things (I should actually look up their name!) are in this INSANE velvet thread that feels like suede.

Trees on an island! Love it. :)

When the boys were small, I had them write their names and embroidered them onto Christmas stockings. #2 was very young, and a few years later decided he could do a better job. Time to finally embroider this side. So I can wash it! #wip #embroidery
