I’ve been to a few singalong showings of Purple Rain at the Prince Charles Cinema. One time I dressed as Doctor Fink in scrubs with a red stethoscope and black shades and everything. But it wasn’t a singalong, just a regular showing, and nobody else dressed up. I looked great though.

I’ve just submitted my tax return (a whole nine months earlier than last year)! I was determined to get it sorted on the first day this year. Surely I now deserve a small treat.

I had an idea I would watch Corrie from the beginning but there are 11,828 episodes which is a bit much even for me (in comparison, Star Trek has 990 episodes across the franchise). Perhaps I'll just watch the Bet Lynch years - that's only 2200 eps.

I heard the hairball but I can’t find the hairball. If I’m lucky, it’s under a bed where it will dry and get vacuumed up. Most likely I’ll step on it with my bare feet in the middle of the night.

I’m having really bad luck with deliveries lately, from different companies. I’ve been sent the wrong size, the wrong item or the wrong quantity. I ordered two replacement foam cushions for my old sofa. Pleased to say I got the sizing right. Less pleased that I only got one of them.
