You know, I have to say, it has its moments of gratification , on that score. Also, so fun to have the grands.

Good morning, beloved.
Peace is the produce of persistence.
Today is a great day to overcome evil with good.
I’m sorry 😐
Miles to go, before we Saturday.
Analytical side note: Maybe I’ve missed them, but I haven’t seen Wilson do many (any?) appearances like this before/in recent years — I.e., as one of several talking heads on a program that includes voices critical of him, as opposed to a one-on-one debate or being the only one being interviewed.
I’m so sorry.
While Kansas isn’t a “swing state” and voted for Trump three times, they do have a Democratic governor.
Marshall isn’t as safe as he thinks he is.
What We Need Is Here
Geese appear high over us,
pass, and the sky closes. Abandon,
as in love or sleep, holds
them to their way, clear
in the ancient faith: what we need
is here. And we pray, not
for new earth or heaven, but to be
quiet in heart, and in eye,
clear. What we need is here

Photo of Fox News anchor Sean Hannity with text: Sean Hannity has left the Catholic Church. His red line wasn’t the churches coverup of pedophilia. No. It was the calls for peace.
What’s your line in the sand?
Cruelty to your neighbour?
Lying to your neighbour?
Exploiting your neighbour?
Dehumanizing your neighbour?
Destroying your neighbour?
“Loving your neighbour as yourself” seems an odd line for a Christian to have.

We usually don’t see any til June.
Heartbreaking.
No ‘lawn’
Uh, I do need to beat back the wild honeysuckle. It is overly rampant.
I gave up on keeping the hummers feeders clean and filled. I switched to vermillion plants, that they adore, the orange flowered ones. This along with letting the purple thistle and other plants grow, usually has them staying pretty long. I’m blessed, in that we are on a patch of land that is wild.
Purple artichoke flower with a bee
I think artichokes should have a shade of purple named after them. It is such a stunning color!
The Great Crested Flycatchers are back from their winter down south and are out there discussing nesting options😄

I do not remember professor’s name. I later could not find it. The other issues that constantly swirled in my brain, while I checked in folks every day and worked at 3 jobs…so much got away from me. But it has stuck with me, and explained much of what I’ve seen take hold, -
A new disdain for science, that cited being biblical, but lacked wide and deep study, and in the end, not so scriptural. It was an article of concern, that these types of views, might appeal to a less informed group, and turn into a false values argument.
I’m in my 60s. When my folks were in their last 5 years, I would often look up their old classmates or colleagues. My dad went to Wheaton. I no longer remember what I was looking for, but I do remember stumbling on an article, written in the 50’s by a Wheaton prof in the sciences. It talked about -
The climbing pink/white rose (climb-ey) has exploded. My new favorite. Cuz I do play favorites.
