Taught myself mosaic crochet and the negative stitch so that I could make this double sided bindrune #crochet 🧶 #stitchcraft

Thanks I actually ended up sewing it in the front loops on the light green too because I didn’t like how it looked originally. Tbh I think sewing it with a tapestry needle ends up looking cleaner than crocheting them together but whatever your comfortable with works! 🧶 #crochet

Did you know if you change colors mid row on a granny square you can make a neat looking mosaic pattern? Well I found out you could so I made a little mat. 🧶 #crochet

I have a whole cone of black lace weight cotton missing somewhere and idk where I put it. I used it at the end of April last and I’ve moved everything in my room since then but I don’t remember where I ended up putting it. And with my luck it had a WIP on in 🧶 #crochet

Okay #showmeyourknits I remake the washcloth but following the pattern more closely this time. And I think it turned out really well. I just need more work on the binding off part.

Okay y’all I’m still really new to #knitting but I really want to learn how to do #illusionknitting all I have is size 7 needles but I have plenty of weight 4 yarn from my crocheting. What do I need to get and any pattern recommendations to start #knit 🧶

9 months ago 1 1 1 0

Thanks I mainly crochet so I’m used to keeping tension and working evenly, I just had a lot of trouble keeping my loops on the needle so I need practice but by the end of this project I had to pick my stitches back up and fix a few dropped stitches so I learned a lot

A poorly knit green washcloth laying on a blue surface

Okay y’all I finally finished my first ever knit project, I realized after I started doing my decreases that I did the increases wrong so the first side is smaller and wonky looking but I needed to start somewhere to learn knitting and I learned a lot doing this. #knit 🧶

A star-shaped crocheted blanket with a gradient pattern, transitioning from black at the center to teal and turquoise tones, then back to black at the edges. The blanket features a textured, lacy design with pointed tips radiating outward, creating a bold and symmetrical starburst effect.

I finally finished my crochet 6 day star blanket by Betty McKnit.
I used cotton kings sultan shadow yarn 2 cakes of the deep teal and 1 and almost a half of sultan solids in black. It has been an on and off project for the past year! And I’m loving how light it is for a summer blanket. 🧶 #crochet

But my biggest dilemma is idk where to start. Everything I’ve ever applied for or worked at has been because of an employee referral and the last company it didn’t align with even though it felt like a perfect fit with my needs right now.
Do I try and start selling my crochet?? I’m so stressed 😵‍💫

Both of the trainings have been that I don’t have enough experience in that specific field… and here is the thing idk what I want to do in life. I think some sort of tech support would be nice but also I probably need more than a highschool diploma. I also maybe want some sort of assistant job.

Y’all I’m so conflicted in life rn, I just quit my job I’ve had for the last 5 years (it was part time and now I need insurance) as a classroom assistant and I loved it. Making resources and helping teach the most. And I’ve had 2 interviews at different companies where they’ve gone with someone else

I machine stitched the lining together but I ended up crocheting it into the bag as it was slightly too small to sew into the bag

I made this cute crocheted Mickey Mouse inspired bag for an upcoming Disneyland trip! I’m happy with its outcome, I can’t wait to add some bag charms to it! #crochet 🧶 #disneyland

I finished a bandana for my sister for her birthday and I like how it turned out but I think I am gonna need to block it, but I might be giving it to her tomorrow when I see her and I’m already in bed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ #crochet 🧶

I am using a 4.5 on my current project as a 5 was slightly too big/loose

I love sultan yarn! I like to use a 5mm hook to give extra drape it seems to also help with the time it takes to make a shawl, so maybe play around with your hook sizes

1 year ago 1 0 1 0

It looked like AI to me but you could do something similar, most of the shapes are just circles or balls that are sewn together, the roof is the part that I don’t know how to replicate.

Crocheted a mesh shawl and it wasn’t the right length so I really did some shady crochet freehand techniques and I like it but I now want it as a blanket too so I started again and hopefully it’s a decent size this time.

I am getting so close to finishing a huge Tunisian crochet blanket I have less than 50 rows left and that is just the last 28%!!! And then I need to add a border but I think I will just do a simple single crochet border #crochet 🧶
