Found it as "Mirascope"
Did you buy it online? Can you share a link? It's an illustrative thing to have near the microscope for visitors
Chocolate peanut butter brownies, but make them *sparkly*.
ICYMI, our #preprint list is now up on FocalPlane, highlighting the latest research using #microscopy to answer questions in #biology.
As always, send us any recommendations for preprints that we've missed: focalplane.biologists.com/2025/12/12/m...
A beautiful news article by Jonathan Ericson & Moran Bercovici on latest optofluidic technology including ours.
Give it a read!

📢Our latest #preprint list is now up on FocalPlane
This week we highlight the latest tools and techniques in microscopy. Drop us a note if we’ve missed a preprint that you’ve enjoyed reading.

📢Check out our latest #preprint list on FocalPlane
This list focusses on the latest research on bioimage analysis and data management. Let us know if there are any preprints that we should add to our list and send us recommendation for the next one!

So happy to work with this great team.
Please check out our latest article.
This is great news for Argentina!
Luciano is one of the most talented and successful researchers I've ever met, and Argentina's optics community is lucky to have him back!
Bienvenido!!!
We are seeking assistance in locating a missing researcher in Germany. If anyone is based in Germany or has contacts in the area who might be able to help, please get in touch as soon as possible.
Any information or support you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Extremely excited to share quite an achievement for our group. Two years ago, we started #PhasorPy (www.phasorpy.org, now in our v0.8). In parallel, Bruno Pannunzio, in collaboration with Marcelo Zoccoller, led the hashtag#Napari_Phasors plugin v0.1 for FLIM & HSI phasor analysis.
This is insane. 13 years ago we bought a million dollar #microscope to do this type of super-resolution imaging. Today, all you need is a smartphone and a few hundred bucks of off-the-shelf components 🤯

Playing around with how to represent volume in #Snouty light sheet data. Here is a dividing hiPSC with endogenously tagged histone in all three orthogonal projections. Bluer is further away. If anything, it distracts from politics.
Happy to share this article with my views on @elislenders.bsky.social and @vicidominilab.bsky.social work and discussing current developments in single-molecule localization combining structured excitation and detection. So many exciting perspectives in the field!

Here's a six-month time-lapse of me building the single objective light sheet fluorescence microscope at the UCSF Center for Advanced Light Microscopy!
Also pictured is @nicostuurman.bsky.social and @kahsage.bsky.social.

“A #SPADarray in any laser scanning #microscope”. That is the latest effort from a group of people that shared this mantra. Proud of all of them.

Happy Pi day to those who like to arrange units by order of magnitude.

Lasers on at UNSAM.
Thrilled to share that my first #micropublication is out! 🧬🔬 I created a user-friendly ImageJ/FIJI plugin for nuclear segmentation and multi-channel fluorescence analysis that doesn't require programming skills.

Very excited to present our latest work: SPINNA, an analysis framework and software package for single-protein resolution data! 🖥️🤩
We can directly quantify stoichiometry and oligomerization from super-res (DNA-PAINT, RESI) images!! 🧬🎨
Read preprints. Cite preprints. Email people and tell them you loved their preprint. Email people you hated their preprint. Embrace preprints, preprints are good.
Our manuscript on accelerating the acquisition rate in oblique plane microscopy (OPM) is online now:
opg.optica.org/boe/fulltext...
Our work addresses the issue that an OPM PSF is tilted, and as such it leaves a lot of "empty space" in Fourier space (FFT of experimental data on the right)... 1/n
Another nice example from the 1st Snouty light-sheet microscope!
-> Here we show a mammalian cell with 2 fluorescent reporters imaged at ~1 volume per second. The speed and gentleness of the microscope make it ideal for 3D tracking and segmentation!

Hi #SnoutClub and microscopy people.
Can you suggest python software for 3D registration?
I want to find the axial shift between two z-stacks
Thanks!!
