Display victory, control, and dominance. What I see is a Roman structure being copied to symbolize the same from an old Roman playbook.

They love to call America a Christian nation, or is it acting more like a Roman empire?

They are amazing. Crows and ravens are incredibly intelligent. They use tools and have culture. Most people are unable to tell one bird from another, but crows and ravens are able to recognize human faces and remember them for years.

Apparently, a light bulb has gone off in some folks' heads, and they are suddenly treating inner-city poverty as a new hot topic, showing how disingenuous they are. They selectively discuss the decline without recognizing redlining, disinvestment, and the policies created by immoral individuals. 👇🏾

He Compared a Black Child to a Dog and Withheld Evidence in Death Row Cases. Now He’s Running for Judge. Holland, who once compared a Black child to a dog, has had a career mired in controversy. That hasn’t stopped him from becoming the de facto frontrunner of his judicial race.

Hugo Holland, who is running for judge, once compared a mentally disabled Black teen to a dog during a death penalty case and told the jury to “get rid of it.”

Attorneys later found that Holland had failed to turn over a trove of evidence.

"Slave" is not a word for everyone to use as a joke. It's not cute, it's not funny, it's not a joke. Please just stop. #ListenToBlackWomen

Celebrating Jesse Jackson During #BlackHistoryMonth

He was the 1st Black man to mount a large presidential bid. He won primaries in 1984 & 1988. Following the legacy of George Taylor, Frederick Douglas & Channing Phillips, his slogan "Keep Hope Alive" preceded Barack Obama's "Hope."
Rest in Peace.

A photo of Rev. Jesse Jackson speaking during an interview in July 1983.

Reverend Jesse Jackson was one of America’s greatest patriots. He spent his life summoning all
of us to fulfill the promise of America and building the coalitions to make that promise real.

A son of Greenville, South Carolina, Reverend Jackson first rose to the national stage as one of the young leaders of the Civil Rights Movement.
His presidential runs in 1984 and 1988 electrified millions of Americans and showed them what could be possible. From Washington, DC to the Bay Area, from the Mississippi Delta to Appalachia, from South Africa to the South Side of Chicago, Reverend Jackson gave a voice to people who were removed from power and politics. He let us know our voices mattered. He instilled in us that we were somebody. And he widened the path for generations to follow in his footsteps and lead.

Fun fact…… Did you know Black artists dominate music, yet lose the biggest awards? Black artists have shaped nearly every major U.S. genre (hip-hop, R&B, jazz, soul, funk). Still, Album of the Year, the Grammys’ top prize, has overwhelmingly gone to white artists………….

Black History Month is a time to recognize the lived, shared experience of all Black folks who have fundamentally shaped, challenged, and ultimately strengthened America. It’s about taking an unvarnished look at the past so that we can create a better future.

I don’t share much of my personal life online. Now and then, sure; but know this: behind the scenes, ya boy is always building, leveling up, moving with purpose, and most importantly, I’m at peace despite all the chaos. Keep it motivated 🫡🇺🇸
