Taleb A. - Social Media-Aktvitäten mit Nähe zur AfD Laut Sicherheitsbehörden ist er nicht als Islamist bekannt. Folgt man Social-Media-Account, die Taleb A. zugeordnet werden, ist er offenbar das genaue Gegenteil: Vor allem auf X (ehemals Twitter) tritt er demnach als radikaler Islamkritiker auf, der glaubt, Deutschland würde in einer „Geheimoperation“ saudische Ex-Muslime jagen, um ihr Leben zu zerstören. Der Account suchte regelmäßig die Nähe zur AfD und rechtsextremen Kräften wie Martin Sellner. Er retweetete zudem rechtsextreme Fotomontagen und Videos. —Impeachment vote has been added to the agenda.
—National Assembly will officially convene midnight tonight (it's almost 3 pm now) where the clock starts ticking for setting a vote on impeachment
—Vote must take place 24 hours from convening but within 72 hours (earliest time: midnight tomorrow)

What happens now?

—It takes time. We recently went through a successful impeachment in 2017, and it took aaaages. We did it tho!
—The National Assembly votes to impeach, then Constitutional Court has to certify. Con Law experts seem divided on whether having 3 vacancies on court invalidates cert.

There are still plenty of people who remember 8.15 and the June Uprising and other instances where the Korean military was deployed against our own people—the sight of military at the National Assembly is shocking and re-traumatizing at the same time.

National Assembly member and SNU constitutional law scholar Cho Kuk is making a statement to the press using strong words—the president needs to stand down the declaration IMMEDIATELY, to ignore this is tantamount to a military rebellion, the declaration ITSELF was illegal and he must answer for it

Speaker Woo is calming everyone down—he has expressed his disapproval of this martial law declaration, but that they need to follow procedure. An off-screen National Assembly member added that the whole world is watching through live TV and they need to stay calm and carry out the letter of the law.
