With grad admissions in full swing, my one piece of unsolicited advice to students is that it's okay to trust your gut feeling with this one. It's tempting to try and over-quantify the process, but it's arguably the qualitative things ("vibes", if you will) that matter most.
Question for #asms conference goers! Anyone presented a Chem ed poster in the Education: Teaching MS section? Is more general analytical chemistry / instrumental analysis research ok? Or does it need to be super MS focused?
