Seated for #ProjectHailMary.
Just finished listening to #ProjectHailMary on Audible read by @realrayporter.bsky.social and it was outstanding! Mr. Porter, you continue to be my all-time favorite narrator for my audio books. You really brought the story and characters to life. Bravo!
I can’t wait to see the movie next Friday!

Absolute Wonder Woman #16 @kellythompson.bsky.social
I enjoyed how the story shifts from proving strength to defining responsibility, testing Diana's ideals under real-world consequences. I thought this issue crystallizes what kind of hero Diana chooses to be in this new reality.

Absolute Batman #16 @ssnyder1835.bsky.social
I LOVE how this issue zeroes in on the cost of Batman's methods as the line between strategy and obsession blurs.
It's a turning point that reshapes the balance of power in Gotham going forward.

Dick Tracy #15 @alexsegura.com
The long-running investigation reaches a BIG pressure point, with secrets surfacing that reframe earlier clues. This is a pivotal chapter where trust, power, & consequences finally collide. I thought it was a great ending to the arc & the last page is a banger!

The Terminator: Metal #4 @rorymcconville.bsky.social
This issue is the moment the mission fractures, forcing impossible choices that redefine who's really control. Everything that's been building turns colder, meaner, and far more personal here. The twist that comes was heart-wrenching.

Here are the weekly comic releases that were in my “bottom of the stack” AKA the books that I was excited to read and why I loved them. I hope it will encourage you to read them too & that you enjoy this 🧵😁!

Any Questions for Marvel Alliance tomorrow night?
Alien vs. Captain America #3 - It was great to see the full extent how far the Alien threat spread. Cap faces the Alien threat head-on in the most brutal issue yet, blending cosmic horror w/ pure Steve Rogers grit. The last page was such a wild & jump the shark moment that I am all here for!
🧵 5/5
Rogue Sun #32 - I really enjoyed the emotional weight that is front and center here. Power has consequences, and Dylan is learning that the hard way. Mr. Poe is not to be trifled with. This issue balances explosive visuals with character-driven moments that deepen the cast and the world.
🧵 4/5
Redcoat #16 - This issue gave us the return of Einstein who blows up Simon’s happy life w/ a major revelation. I didn’t think his happy life could stay that way. I hope Simon is not tempted by a deal w/ a devil. I know another major fight is coming but at what cost to Simon’s happiness.
