Good morning
Thats quite the colour combo from this Anemone and Daphne gematta
So much planting and mowing this week as we prepare for our open day on Saturday
Hope you have a fantastic Monday 🌱🌸
Paris incompleta.
Some for sale on the nursery, I'll add them to the website when they've grown a few more roots - if there are any left! These were potted in the autumn but I'd like them to be better established before they get bounced around in a box.

They are often at Chelsea Flower Show, so yes early, but seems in line with many other perennials that are 3 or 4 weeks early.

I was surprised (but delighted) to see this perennial cornflower (Centaurea montana) in Wisley’s Hilltop Wildlife garden on Sunday. It seems very early.
Brilliant news
The wait is over, the Basil has rooted sufficiently and put on enough top growth to be ready for sale 🌱🇬🇧 #herbs #basil #peatfree #horticulture

Decisions, decisions 😂
Sometimes an email would get my point across easier, but then the conversation wouldn't meander and bring new discoveries.
Thank you 😁
Beautiful and great project.
I find it much easier, I like to build those connections.
It’s been a fantastic spring for Tulips, so I made a short video capturing all the photos I’ve taken. Please check it out.

When you have a phone call with a supplier that goes in all sorts of directions and a possible collaboration.
That's why I like to pick up the phone and chat, rather than always email.
A beautiful tribute!
Our #RoseWednesday post is dedicated to garden journalist and editor Liz Dobbs who sadly has recently died. We have happy memories of working with Liz, at The Festival of Roses & also arranging a collection of Gold Standard roses at Borde Hill Gardens. Rose:Special Child, awarded Gold Standard. 🌱
Ruffled Black Parrot. All the pinks - Artist, Doll’s Minuet, Pretty Princess, Dynasty. Might try a black & hot pink #tulip grouping next year.
Wine-purple Merlot & pink-ripple Marilyn (my namesake tulip).

Cleaning up the drought tolerant planting in the office gardens. Yucca, Agave, Fascicularia and Aristaloe (aloe) have thrived
A couple of the Aloe pups died back with all the winter rain, but there are plenty more to replace them. Yucca pruned to allow the more light in
