Some Items in the Catalog are folders with more Items inside, usually with variations, similar or parts of the original Item.📂🍔

If it looks like a door or a button, it's a door or a button.😁

Gamepad support is coming together with a UI experience adaptation different to the one with Mouse/Keyboard.
Bom dia! Today Carol Costa shared a new video talking a little about Block Block Block on her Instagram, check it out www.instagram.com/p/DXW5RYIhXvc/ 🥰
Since we are 15 days from the new Demo release, here some bugs over the years🤦♀️🥲
There is one more way to duplicate, it's funny and of course, makes your building time easier. This one works by stacking items. ♥️👀

kind of wish Revit was more like this tbqh lol
It's been:
4.5 years since the idea + prototype
18 months since Steam page launch
6 months since the first Demo
-3 weeks since the second Demo(May 5th)👀
Excited and scary to see you play again!❤️
I should have put that in the lore.

We also have alternative, less linear ways to duplicate items.✨

At the end all the items use the same material and shader values are edited per mesh.
Model are on Blender yes, but the texture for the items is just one wood tile I did long time ago with Painter, the rest including color is handle with shaders, there is also a little of AO by vertex that helps define the shade and some gradient in UV to define some borders in the model.

Building Dioramas speed hits different when you can just duplicate items!✨

Block Block Block new Demo is coming out to Steam on May 5th, Wishlist now store.steampowered.com/app/3375490/... ♥️

By "Godot manually" I mean writing the mesh with MeshDataTool and ArrayMeshes.
There is 2 types of way I handle it, the cube(probably the one I stretch) is actually created inside Godot manually, and complex items that can be deformed are done in Blender, I just do a transition between vertices of 2 meshes, there is also a lot of setup inside Godot for that.

For example rotation/roll item and offseting the item are their own tool, but grab with assistance apply both things when needed and is like the player do it by is own, that was probably the challeging part, make the syncronization between how tools works, and also the fancy parenting between items.
Its actually quite challenging, here is the different of grabbing with assistance and free mode, the assistance do a lot of heavy work to make decoration easier like colliding with walls, placing in floor instead of wall when needed, there is also some things that depends of other features...
Glad you ask, Yes!
Snaps the "pivot" to whatever a raycast hit, take a bunch of info and stick the item there. One of the lasted addition was making it smart enough so it rotates the item on its own depending of the surface direction, players where having hard time to put things on walls like they want before that.
