Banged my head of making the character to move up/down on this "gear rack" for waaaay too long

I think you need to jam in "occasional profanity" in that pie chart as well
You could check out either Wine or WinBoat, both are "initiatives" (I do believe have been around for longer but WinBoat seems to be picking up steam as well) where you can run Windows based applications on Linux
Have you checked out Affinity?
How is it using it?
I’m currently “window shopping” myself and I’m trying to get some ideas on what to get
That looks sooo nice!
btw, I wanted to ask, what's the monitor?
Some more progress or "poking arounds" in #godot
I have this "gear" character move along this set of "gear racks" (I think they're called?) & I'm trying to figure out a simple method of making the movement smooth-ish
Anyone have any ideas? More context in Alt Text

I just thought the same thing!
What I'm trying to say (because I'm not fully loaded with Coffee yet) is: that's pretty neat!
I have some vague memories of Thomas the Tank Engine, but that has been overridden by videos of the mod that replaces Dragons in Skyrim with Thomas the Tank Engine
Looks fantastic, but one question though..
Is there a dedicated quack button?
(This is a joke by the way, since the character kinda looks like a duck)
A while back I installed a new GPU, going from an RTX 2060 to an #AMD Radeon RX 9060XTm I don't think I've ever been that nervous during the installation process, so nervous I started sweating.
I need a new monitor now but the biggest difference? My PC is a lot less noisy

If I were in Stockholm, I would've LOVE to do it but if you want a café recommendation, I would recommend "Söderbergs Bageri" in the Telefonplan area (red line, south), they have 2 locations: one in the "Konstfack" area & the original location along Cedergrensvägen
Highly recommend it!
This looks great!
I wanted to ask though, how do you get this CRT effect?
I do remember the time, where, when someone made a ludicrous claim, you would point and laugh at them or you would simply go "yeahhh.... right"
btw, I'm very impressed that they made the game using blueprints.
When I made my game in Unreal, I reached a point with my blueprints where debugging started becoming more and more of a challenge
I would love to see that spagetti code
Is there a way to track games made in #godot?
I know Mega Crit pivoted during development to use Godot with Slay the Spire but it would be neat to see what games (in a list) have been made in the godot engine?

So nothing major, just for funsies, I manually placed some "gear teeths" for my gear character to move up on (that also has collision) because I wanted to see what happens.
And it works... kinda okay? It's janky of course but still, it KINDA works?

How did they do?
How the hell did I miss your borthday?!
HAPPY BORTHDAY!
That was a solid read, I'm looking forward to Ed's write up about the whole journey that lead to the switch and how it worked out
It's all good, is the shader based on something specific?
This looks so GOOD!
Some time ago, I played "Modnation Racers" (a PS3 kart racing game), which had this course editor where you drove this vehicle around in order to create the course.
I've just seen this tool but is that something that could be implemented?
Nicely done!
Oh welp, I guess hold your breath and pray that your Desktop decides that it doesn't go kaput?
I mean, UIs being "good" is kinda necessary for it to work, I don't particularly like menus within menus when there are one or two things I want to access (in regards to right clicking on Desktop)
I'm way too used to the old Windows 10 one, old habits die hard amirite?
Fair point, I do like the tool though and I have it so that I can right click and have the "Windows 10 menu" instead of the Windows 11 one (if it makes any sense what I'm trying to explain)
