Alot of masking and painting on the MK Vb. Time consuming but the results are worth it. #kitoff90

Amazing!
Trumpeter 1/32 EE Lightning, cut and shut with 5mm added to the fuselage to correct the flaw in the original kit.
I’ve started a full rewatch from Season One as a prelude to this season
This video of a Ukrainian Yak-52 crew taking down drones with a shotgun is incredible, but the music is deeply, and profoundly inappropriate. There was really only one option. So I've fixed it.
Speaking of pilots shooting down enemy drones; this gun camera footage, taken from a Hawker Tempest flown by New Zealander Flight Lieutenant Jim McCaw, shows a German V-1 flying bomb being shot down with cannon fire in July 1944.

A reminder, the security services advised Theresa May Johnson was a security risk before she appointed him Foreign Secretary, they advised against giving Lebedev a peerage, he got one, Johnson misled (lied to you and me) about what he knew about Pincher when he made him Deputy Chief Whip.

1/ The Russian MOD's reported decision to block the supply of drones to frontline troops and reserve them solely for the Unmanned Systems Forces continues to cause consternation among Russian warbloggers. Former drone pilot Andrey Filatov predicts disastrous consequences. ⬇️
Similar in some ways to the DeHavilland Hornet. Also highly rated by its pilots.
Artwork showing a pair of F7F Tigercats in overall dark blue camouflage peeling off to attack ground targets amid flak bursts. They carry rockets and bombs on underwing racks along with belly tanks. The aircraft are sleek single-seaters, with twin radial engines.
The Grumman F7F Tigercat (1943) resulted from a U.S. Navy requirement for a twin-engined multi-role fighter to operate from the large Midway-Class carriers then under development. Fast and heavily armed, the F7F arrived too late to see combat in World War Two, but did serve in Korea.

I have some concerns with the choice of picture for this story from BBC News

Martin XB-26 Marauder prototype, a sleek, siler twin engined bomber with a high mid wing and tricycle gear.
I'll let others give you the history of the Martin B-26, I just thought on #MartinMonday you might want to see how pretty, and ugly, the XB-26 was.
I think this was around 1940, in competition with what would become the North American B-25.

Russell Crowe’s Göring in Netflix’s #Nuremberg is genuinely impressive: vain, intelligent, manipulative, unrepentant. And the film gets the courtroom dynamic right: Jackson fumbling the cross-examination before Maxwell Fyfe stepped in to rescue the prosecution. So far, so good. 🧵
I’ll stick something in the group chat nearer the date. Seeing them as Piece Hall in August as well
We’ll have to meet up for a beer🚀
