Punch Lewis (Bill) was born in Norwich ~1844. A boxer & publican, in '82 he opened the Blue Coat Boy boxing saloon on the 'worst street in London'. He kept two black bulldogs. Punch died in '83 from heart disease, financially ruined. The boxing fraternity supported his wife, Annie 🥊 #AThousandBlows
