Sen. Sanders: We live 4 years shorter lives than the people in other wealthy countries, despite all of our expenditures, and working class people on average live 7 years fewer than the wealthy.
Got that? So being working class in this country is in many ways a death sentence.

As a member of the public, what would make me feel safe is if Labour designed policy on public safety on things that are actually happening. For example, men who want to kill women because they get their ideas from the far-right.

Emergency motion on the Supreme Court ruling defining the term 'woman' from RDC conference 2025
Attendees at the #RDconf last Saturday voted on an emergency motion to show their opposition to the Supreme Court ruling on the definition of a woman.

Hey, remember when we found out that a bunch of anti-trans journalists were in a group chat or otherwise all hanging out online radicalizing each other with the same regurgitated propaganda and no one gave a shit, but now it turns out that this is just true in general of this class of people?
Is Starmer’s Labour far right?
This question sounds absurd, but today, it is not only necessary but urgent to ask for anyone who still cares about democracy

🧵We just delivered over 100k signatures to Downing Street telling them it’s time to decriminalise abortion. Another woman is on trial THIS WEEK.
Plenty of politicians on both sides of the aisle feel threatened by rising class consciousness.
It is my birthday today, now I have your attention -please make a gift to me by donating much needed funds to #TransMutualaid Manchester, a radical movement and aid group helping trans and gender marginalised people across Greater Manchester via support grants.

Note that this is only four of the fifty-nine *out LGBTQ+* Labour MPs who would give a clear "yes" to the question, and even *they* defended the viciously transphobic court ruling.
Labour is institutionally transphobic to the very core, unless somehow its cishet MPs are *less* bigoted.
A trans woman wrote to Wetherspoons to ask which toilets they're meant to use. Wetherspoons replied acknowledging the Supreme Court's verdict...and that trans customers can use whichever loos they want to but to please lock the cubicle door.
Labour now being outflanked on the left by Wetherspoons.

I’m a trans man. If my football team followed the EHRC guidance for our match today, I would have had to change in a separate room and use a separate toilet.
Ultimately, I imagine the EHRC would like to ban me from playing on the same team as cis men.
We say no. Trans rights are human rights 🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️
Is it funny to me that the EHRC gave up on their phone line for most or all of today? Yes! And we keep going
I have somehow ended up with interviews for BBC local radio this evening, across 12 different local stations, about Labour's plan to publish offender nationality statistics. Not sure how many different ways I can say "incitement to violence against communities", but we will see.
Manchester City women player Kerstin Casparij dedicates goal to her trans siblings through a “an incredibly tough and heartbreaking week. She continues:
“You have all been on my mind and in my heart and you deserve so much more than what this government and society is giving you”.

These results are unsurprising. Many companies in the report are on the Social Mobility Index and have social mobility initiatives.
Working-class people can't rely on social mobility to create a more equal society for them, it isn't working.

Great to see Hollyoaks star Isabelle Smith speaking about how working-class women struggle to enter the acting industry - Lisa Nandy suggests a 'programme of government support' and campaign led by Isabelle Smith.
